Gerry has been a part of Dystopia Rising New Jersey for eight years. He's been an Ops Guide, written plot for four different games across the network, and has traveled the network before stepping into the role of Experience Design for DRNJ with a drive to take the game back to its roots as a Survival Horror experience. LOGISTICS DIRECTOR

John has been a part of Dystopia Rising since 2016, and has been an avid LARPer for well over a decade. He first joined the team as a Coordination guide, working in that role at two chapters before becoming the Logistics head for DRNJ. He’s helped run several national events on the logistics and organization end, and works hard to keep his chapter running through the magical power of spreadsheets. If you have questions about your sheet, blueprints, mechanics, the database, the rulebook, or anything in between, John’s your guy! He’ll be able to answer it all, and have even your toughest tech problem sorted out in a jiffy.

Melanie has been part of the New Jersey team since 2018 working on the guide level, and has moved to Logistics after many hours of dedication. In her spare time, Melanie loves spending time with anyone’s dog, baking, and playing computer games. Kevin’s been a player of Dystopia Rising for nearly a decade. He can be found at our events zooming across site, playing the scariest thing you’ll find in the woods, and teaching our newer players how to become economic wizards and combat masterminds. Kevin works with Gerry when it comes to all things story, and is a contact for any and all community concerns!

Ricky's been playing Dystopia Rising since 2020, and has been a member of the director team since 2023. Ricky has been side-promoted to Co-Direct Story with Matt, and bring an amazing knowledge of Music, Video Games, TTRPGs to the setting of DR:NJ's storylines. Ricky is one of the biggest horror nerds we have, and his plotlines bring a level of eerie terror to the local setting. He's been known for The Six Wastes, Death Inc, and Kings Court Storylines.

Matt's been a DR:NJ player for over 13 years, and has participated in many stories, weaved many connections with his fellow players, and enjoys the fun that can be had in the woods. Matt joined the NJ team as a writer 5 years ago, and has co-hosted the plot leading up to DR's first 5 day premier event. He's excited for this new chapter in his life at DR:NJ, and cannot wait to bring new stories and experiences to the chapter. We cannot wait to see what Matt creates with our plotlines and community.
